The Blind Side

The Blind Sidehttp://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=makingindiagreen&l=as2&o=1&a=B002VECM72, is inspirational and amazing. Sandra Bullock portrays Leah Anne, the matriarch of the affluent Memphis family who adopted Michael Oher, an offensive tackle for the American football team, the Baltimore Ravens. Michael was held back two years in elementary school and had a spotty educational record with a 0.6 GPA in high school. He was born to a family of 12 children and spent most of his life a ward of the state of Tennessee.

Religious organizations provide enormous benefits to family for involvement, support, and growth. Studies reporting on substance use of tobacco, alcohol, and drugs have shown that children that have attended religious services were less likely to have experiment with substances. The studies have also shown that the more services attended by the child the lower the possibility of experimentation with substances.

Children need to have their efforts recognized and validated, not just the Michael Oher’s of the world, but the children who spend the game on the side lines, need to know that their family care enough to show up. There are other social activities that are beneficial to children include, boy scouts, girl scouts, and explorer scouts to name a few.

What is important is that you involve your child in activities using community social groups; community sports organizations, or sports and social groups through the child’s school. The more involved you are as a parent the better, it sends a message to the child that you support the child and that they are important.

Facing the Giants

Facing the Giants is struggling to keep the school's football program alive. Then, just when things seem like they can't get any worse, a stranger shows up in Grant's office and shares a Scripture verse, saying that the Lord sent him there. Suddenly, it's a whole new ballgame! Grant prays, gets inspired, and revamps his entire philosophy of coaching. His enthusiasm spreads to the whole team, and then the whole school, and suddenly, as Grant notes, it's like a whole new team.

And then there's the theology. An assistant coach twists Jesus' words about the wide and narrow gates to apply to kicking field goals. And despite writer and the director Kendrick's insistence that he's "not a name it and claim it guy," that's just what happens in the movie: After Grant gets right with Jesus, everything goes his way. We won't give away the plot developments, but suffice it to say that every situation that could go either way ends up going the "right" way on and off the field. The "giants" aren't merely faced; they're all slain, and everybody lives happily ever after. Seems a bit like "prosperity gospel" dressed up in helmets and shoulder pads.

The acting is just as bad. Kendrick is at times as wooden as one of George Lucas' actors, at other times so melodramatic that he actually reminds one of Will Ferrell only, he's not trying to be funny. Fields also turns in a performance that somehow manages to be exaggerated and flat at the same time, and most of the grown-up supporting cast members are no better. The younger actors who play the team members give some of the most convincing performances, which helps to highlight the movie's strongest feature when the cheesy dialogue and story shut down and the football kicks in, there's a surprisingly well-done sense of realism here, as the film does an admirable job of capturing the atmosphere of a high school football game.

Courageous

Four men, one calling to serve and protect as law enforcement officers, Adam Mitchell, Nathan Hayes and their partners are confident and focused. They willingly stand up to the worst the world can offer. Yet when they take off their badges at the end of the day, they face a challenge that none of them are truly prepared to tackle: fatherhood.

While they consistently give their best on the job, good enough seems to be all they can muster as dads. But they're quickly discovering that their standard is missing the mark.
They know that God desires to turn the hearts of fathers to their children, but their children are beginning to drift further and further away from them. Will they be able to find a way to serve and protect those that are most dear to them.

When tragedy hits home, these men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith, and their fathering. Can a newfound urgency help these dads draw closer to God and to their children.

Moviegoers will again find themselves crying, laughing and cheering sometimes simultaneously as they are inspired by everyday heroes who long to be fathers that make a lifelong impact on their children. Protecting and serving from one another is the means for everyone and the lesson we can apply in life.

Standing Firm

Standing Firm is a dramatic portrayal of one family's tragedy and the challenges they face in a struggle to survive financially, relationally and spiritually. Production qualities are top-notch, the story is gripping and the power of God to transform lives is crystal clear. Believers will find it a dynamite tool to share the gospel with others.

David, a widower, is working himself to death. Late nights doing paperwork and running on fumes is normal. Bills are piling up by the week, and foreclosure looms on the horizon. Blaming God for his wife's death, he ends his relationship with the church. Steven, the remaining Christian of the household, has been watching his father's unhealthy lifestyle with great concern. With help from his grandpa and best friend Maggie, Steven reaches out to his father in any way he can. Despite his grieving and worsening financial problems, David begins seeking an answer to the question haunting him since his wife's death.

Why Standing Firm is a story of suffering, for the reason of God's purpose in it, and being joyful despite all the obstacles that need to pass and it is occurrence in everyones life. Then again hold on to the promise of God whom you must put your love, trust and faith for this is the will of the Lord, to prosper us and not to harm us.

Fireproof

Fireproof is the story of a firefighter whose marriage is suffering and the process of recovery. Without giving away all the details, Caleb Holt, played by Kirk Cameron decides to take part in an experiment called “The Love Dare” in order to prevent divorce between him and his wife. The catch as he finds is that the experiment can only be successful if he finds true love through Christ and applies that understanding to his marriage.

This story is inspirational on so many levels. For those who are struggling with their marriage, it provides understanding and sympathy as well as provides information on how to begin the restoration process for a hurting marriage. For those who do not struggle in this area, it gives a true appreciation for what they have, reinforcing the strength already present in that marriage. Even for singles people, it is inspirational so that you will know what to expect from marriage should it ever be a consideration.

For anyone willing to open their heart to the same understanding the character goes through, this could be a truly life changing movie. Even for Christians, a solid depiction of the gospel is depicted which just reinforces Faith.

Green Lantern

Green Lantern

In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected.

Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax… He will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.

In the story we can relate and learn a lesson to put in application to ourself in the reality to be a responsible person in the society and make our own ways on how to do kindness for all the people, knowing first their security than our own self.

Conan the Barbarian

Conan the Barbarian

Fast and Furious V

Fast and Furious V is a variety of thrill and action and   it's quite a sight, these two grappling, great bald heads thwacking together, treetrunk arms lavishly oiled and soulfully tattooed. The rest of the film sticks to the same aesthetic: all running and crunching, every line of dialogue orchestrated to within an inch of its life. But for all its absurdity and the family friendly bloodlessness despite the copious violence, it spins along very smoothly and efficiently.

Former cop Brian O'Conner partners with ex-con Dom Toretto on the opposite side of the law. Since Brian and Mia Toretto broke Dom out of custody, they've blown across many borders to elude authorities. Now backed into a corner in Rio de Janeiro, they must pull one last job in order to gain their freedom. As they assemble their elite team of top racers, the unlikely allies know their only shot of getting out for good means confronting the corrupt businessman who wants them dead. But he's not the only one on their tail. Hard-nosed federal agent Luke Hobbs never misses his target. When he is assigned to track down Dom and Brian, he and his strike team launch an all-out assault to capture them. But as his men tear through Brazil, Hobbs learns he can't separate the good guys from the bad. Now, he must rely on his instincts to corner his prey... before someone else runs them down first.

In order to prevent the lawless trio from being turned into roadkill before he can arrest them, Luke puts his pedal to the metal, and begins to rely more on his killer instinct than his police training.

Pirates of the Caribbean 'On Stranger Tides'

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides Poster

This film, the fourth in a series that made its improbable and profitable leap from the theme park to the multiplex eight summers ago, represents an attempt to rejuvenate a flagging franchise. In Hollywood, gratuitous excess not necessity is the mother of invention.

It's fitting that this fourth instalment of the mega booty-hauling franchise revolves around a quest for the fountain of youth. Everyone's racing to get to the fountain of youth, negotiating perilous terrain and fantastical episodes and stitching each other up. The freshest new monsters are some vicious but seductive mermaids, which are rather cruelly hunted, slaughtered and tortured along the way.

Worse still, everyone else is so scheming and self-centred and double-crossing, it's not always clear who to root for, who's in cahoots with whom, or what anyone's going to do if/when they actually find the sacred fountain. The temptation to do something fresh is often outweighed by the fear of losing whatever it was that made it successful in the first place. This tries to do both, but ends up just trying too hard.

Harry Potter & Deathly Hollows 2

Based on the books and movies has been created is chock full of important lessons for the adults and kids alike, its talked about the themes of the stories, about love and friendship and family, about right and wrong and good and evil.

In the world of Harry Potter, asking for help isn't a sign of weakness or failure, but a sign of wisdom."It is not our abilities that show what we truly are, Dumbledore reminds a fretful Harry. "It is our choices." Harry has to make some incredibly difficult choices in this last bit of the story, and his choices affect the people around him profoundly and permanently. And in the end, it is not Harry's abilities that defeat Voldemort it is the help he asks for, and gets, from his friends.

It's no spoiler to tell you that in the climax of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" Harry asks for his friends' help to defeat Voldemort. How and from whom that help comes is what makes this a wonderful film, and one that is worth taking your kids to see. The ways in which Harry finds help when he most needs it, from the most unexpected sources, open the door to discussing, once again, all those other lessons, about good and evil and bravery and loyalty and love.

'The Tree of Life'

.

We trace the evolution of an eleven-year-old boy in the Midwest, Jack, one of three brothers. At first all seems marvelous to the child. He sees as his mother does, with the eyes of his soul. She represents the way of love and mercy, where the father tries to teach his son the world's way, of putting oneself first. Each parent contends for his allegiance, and Jack must reconcile their claims. The picture darkens as he has his first glimpses of sickness, suffering and death. The world, once a thing of glory, becomes a labyrinth.

Framing this story is that of adult Jack, a lost soul in a modern world, seeking to discover amid the changing scenes of time that which does not change: the eternal scheme of which we are a part. When he sees all that has gone into our world's preparation, each thing appears a miracle precious, incomparable. Jack, with his new understanding, is able to forgive his father and take his first steps on the path of life.

The story ends in hope, acknowledging the beauty and joy in all things, in the everyday and above all in the family -- our first school -- the only place that most of us learn the truth about the world and ourselves, or discover life's single most important lesson, of unselfish love.

'Mission Impossible 4'

The Mission Impossible was all started on IMF when is shut down it's implicated in a global terrorist bombing plot. Ghost Protocol is initiated and Ethan Hunt and his rogue new team must go undercover to clear their organization's name. No help, no contact, off the grid. You have never seen a mission grittier and more intense than this.

The story was very overriding and has a short breathed scene that catches the attention of the viewers and it is have a more critical situation that Tom Cruise has accordingly to pass and through the determination and especially the strategy that he has is very incredible.

In our generation today it is important to have the capability of what the actor make in the movie or in the story for apply it to applicable and any aspects of life to have a good task and finish it according in our own capability. In order to do that we also need to learn in our superior leader, instructor and mentor for being knowledgeable and perform and apply it in our applicable activity in life.

'The Dolphin Tale'

The story was less than six years ago that Winter (named for the season in which she was found) was discovered while trapped in a crab trap near Cape Canaveral, Florida. She was so badly injured that rescuers didn’t know if she would make it. Winter was rushed to ‘Clearwater Marine Aquairium’ in Clearwater, Florida, where she was put on 24-hour watch during her recovery and rehabilitation. She eventually lost her tail, as the abrasions she suffered were just too deep and had disintegrated what was left.

Meanwhile the “dolphin that could” quickly adapted to her new physical form and even developed her own swim pattern (side-to-side like a shark instead of up-and-down like dolphins that have tails). But her trainers and veterinarians were concerned that this would cause a curvature in her spine, and so they contacted a nearby prosthetics and orthotics company which specializes in human prosthetics and asked if they could help Winter.

The Dolphin Tale illustrates how a new tail was created and the development of new technology called “Winter’s gel” which is a special sticky sleeve that enables prosthetics to adhere better and fit more comfortably on delicate skin. Today, Winter's gel is helping human patients with their prosthetic needs as well, including members of the military and children and adults with physical limitations.

"Battle of Los Angeles"

I just couldn’t help but wonder where the rest of this movie went. It feels like the first part of a much bigger franchise, and perhaps it will be, but the characterizations are weak, and while most people probably aren’t expecting a deep plot, having something to root for — maybe something as simple as knowing the names of the characters — would have gone a long way to turning this hollow disaster flick into something more substantial.

The film tries to offer a handful of moments before the invasion which are meant to relate the characters to the audience. Those moments though are all generic, and most of the squad will be forgotten, as will their plot points.

Once the action picks up, it is fairly exciting. The dumb kids slow it down, but that doesn’t stop some of the fights from being entertaining to watch, even though you probably won’t really care too much when Private that guy bites it.

The idea of a movie set in a warn-torn LA just looks and sounds cool. The result though is an average, but mostly forgettable action flick that fails to grab you and does not live up to its potential. There are a a few cool parts, but not enough to save the bad ones.

The highlight and most substantial of the story is they have the Unity and Cooperation of each of them in order to conquer and win against the Aliens invader by that they gain the Victory in the end. But they continue to kill some aliens who are in the earth....

'Foreign Movies'

Origination of Foreign Movies

The Cinema of the United States, also known as Hollywood, has had a profound effect on cinema across the world since the early 20th century. Its history is sometimes separated into four main periods: the Silent Film Era, Classical Hollywood Cinema, New Hollywood, and the contemporary period. Since the 1920s, the American film industry has grossed more money every year than that of any other country.

Golden Age of Hollywood

During the so-called Golden Age of Hollywood, which lasted from the end of the silent era in American cinema in the late 1920s to the early 1960s, thousands of movies were issued from the Hollywood studios.

Rising of New Movie Industry

In our present generation of movie industry there are many innovative piece that the Foreign Movies created,
there are all advance in using some kind of technology today. We were appreciate their masterpiece and patronize  it in order to us to satisfy our leisure needs and to get a hold of "knowledge" of that particular story.

We are so lucky to live in this time of foreign movies, because of the new technology and high definition of arts that used to enhance the production of a movie.

Modern Foreign Movies
